Microsoft Intern Follow Up Programme
Developing Talent – Performing in a Global Business Environment
Following the successful delivery at the end of 2009 of the Microsoft Intern Development Programme for their Middle East and Africa sector, the Quest team were invited to facilitate a follow up / wrap up programme to the same intern’s as they graduate into new and exciting full time roles within the Microsoft MACH programme.
Building on the business, communication and project management skills training delivered in the first programme, the Quest follow up programme focused on individual coaching; interpersonal skills; and the development of personal visions/mission statements and goals based on some of Stephen Covey – 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workbook.
Alongside these elements Quest facilitated a review of individual MBTI Step II profiles, and a Microsoft business centric project management exercise in which the interns had to carryout a detailed business analysis of the Microsoft web search engine BING and deliver a conceptual launch of BING version II.
The Quest programme delivered an effective, appropriate and enhanced conclusion to the intensive three month long Internship and provided the interns with a most appropriate rubicon both into their new full time roles within Microsoft, and their personal life journeys.
The programme concluded with a powerful and energizing peer led critical feedback session and a final celebratory dinner at the vibrant House Café, Istanbul.
