Team Apprentice Challenge providing Business Coaching

Quest offer a portfolio of innovative interventions that deliver business driven experiences. The process is relevant to delegate’s work and importantly provides tangible transferable skills. Key to this process are experiential and applied exercises where the delegates deal with real budgets and commodities, as opposed to the commonly used and somewhat contrived management games and role plays.

The programmes are delivered in a safe environment removed from the day to day operation of the business but involve real life situations. These exercises provide a broad range of business challenges such as delivering a profit, meeting client’s expectations, negotiating with suppliers, achieving service standards, meeting project deadlines and much more.

The exercises are concepts which we adapt to match the client’s specific objectives ensuring we provide a bespoke and highly relevant programme. The programmes are delivered over a two to four day period depending upon their complexity.

All the programmes are delivered by our team of highly qualified coaches and the practical learning can be supported by psychometric testing such as Myers Briggs, Insights, and Belbin. When working with junior levels of management we can also incorporate a First Level Leadership certification as part of the process.

The entire programme is carefully facilitated and observed. We actively encourage client representatives to be part of the facilitation and observation process. Where it is appropriate video analysis is also utilised to support the learning outcomes.

All profits made from the delivery of this programme are donated to the clients chosen charity.

The Negotiator

Teams have a limited budget to purchase a number of specific items. Effective negotiation and excellent presentation skills are key competences for this challenge. Their decision making must be decisive, and their research and planning very thorough.

Team Apprentice Selling

This programme puts delegates into a totally authentic situation: One that involves real money and the requirement to create a real profit. It is also highly enjoyable and provides the opportunity to raise money for a chosen charity.

Charity Video Production

Another unique team building event from Quest! Working with a charity your team will devise, produce and record a promotional charity film clip for media use. Innovation, planning, and the ability to work with third party support will be key.

Restaurant

Delegates will run a restaurant, provide dinner service for paying clientele and donate the proceeds to charity. Tight financial management, planning and organisation are crucial to achieve success. The pressure of service will significantly test team working skills.

Calendars & Christmas Cards

Challenge your team’s creativity, planning, marketing and sales skills whilst working together to raise funds for a worthy cause.

Auction of Promises

A multi stage exercise requiring teams to obtain donated pledges, gifts or services, to auction. A real challenge in persuasion, organisation & attention to detail. Please contact Quest for further details.

Farmers Market

Working with a small farm retailer teams will develop and produce a new product to then sell at a farmers market. This is a real life programme that will test the best of teams.
