Once again October saw Quest working with The Housing Corporation, this time delivering a one day London City Challenge team development programme.

Demonstrating the versatility of Quest's City Challenge programmes, it was a team of just eleven that Quest worked with, divided into two sub-teams.

The weather was calm and dry and London looked stunning in the early autumn sunshine as the two teams began their challenge for the day, a challenge that would take them all over the central part of the capital.

Travelling to and buying properties and tourist attractions formed the core of the programme, and clear strategies and planning were required to ensure maximum numbers were bought, whilst avoiding the payment of rent on those places already sold.

Property buying was only part of the day though. Whilst that was crucial for success, the teams also had to manage a budget and procure a range of items at minimum cost. Linked with that photography skills were needed in abundance and the ability to search out and successfully persuade celebrities to assist with tasks, required negotiation skills and careful communication.

And as if all of that wasn’t enough Team Quest were prowling around London’s streets and parks with additional challenges for the teams to complete.

This London City Challenge is a full-on programme, that requires close team co-operation and all team members to contribute to their team’s success. The teams from The Housing Corporation once again stepped up to the plate and worked hard together, whilst having a great deal of fun too. And at the end of the day tea was waiting and an extremely beneficial feedback session conducted to maximise the take-back to the business. Success!
