Race Entry Requirements

  • You must be over 18 years old and under 65 years
  • You must be able to swim 100 meters for races involving kayaking

Transaction/Payment errors

If you experience an error using our race portal system, please contact us at info@quest-thegreatoutdoors.co.uk or call 01380 831388. Please have your worldpay transaction ID handy.

Lost Property

  • Adventure racing kit is valuable to you so keep it safe and secure, eg always bring a device to secure your bike at the bike transition point
  • Put any transition kit in a distinctive plastic bag or box but be aware if this is left in a transition zone it may not be secure
  • Always collect all your kit at the end of your race: double check you take all the items you brought with you home with you!
  • If you do leave anything at an event, you will be responsible for recovering it from the venue.

Refunds and Transfers

Entry payments are non-refundable. If you wish to transfer your race entry to a different race or amend your teamlist, please email info@questars.co.uk using subject title 'TRANSFERS' at least TWO WEEKS prior to the closing date of the race. Please contact QUEST if you have a query about payment.

Refunds may occasionally be offered at the discretion of the management.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. Quest - The Great Outdoors is the sole owner of any information collected. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from that disclosed in this statement.

Solicited Emails/Marketing

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us whenever you enter personal data. Your data will by default be stored in our customer relations management system to help us provide you with a more efficient and personal service. If you wish to have your personal data removed from our databases then please contact us.
